Therapy Garden

This beautiful garden is used as a ‘calm area’ where a therapist can interact with clients in a peaceful natural setting.

Martin has planted it with a variety of texture and colour in a calming palette of muted colour.  The structural elements of architectural plants such as Phormium (New Zealand Flax) Astilea and Bamboo are softened by grasses Miscanthus (Silvergrass) and tumbling golden Fescue.  Height is provided by the tall stalks of Verbena Bonaris, Agapanthus and Dierama (Angel’s Fishing Rod), through which the views through the full length of the garden can still be seen.

The warm patio area faces to the south-west and is finished in buff-yellow limestone flags with red brick detail edging.
